These images are part of a series that I've been working on for a few years now--large format images of the nighttime landscape where human habitation and nature meet. Most of this work was shot in the middle of the night, though the twin trees were shot in the liminal time between dark and dawn. The golden image on the left was exposed by a nearby streetlight for 20 minutes before dawn. Its companion image was taken right afterwards, but by that time, the bluish light of early dawn was dominating the scene. More about this series can be found on the contact page. Any upcoming exhibits will be listed under Upcoming Shows on the main page.
