“Soul and Skin: A Journey into the Triangle’s Hispanic Community,” a 2-part story chronicling the lives of an immigrant Latino church community in the small town of Siler City, NC (with writer Barry Yeoman).

“Gray Gold,” a 3-part investigative series on the rest home industry in North

Carolina, including issues of political influence, workplace conditions, and community-

based alternatives (with writers Eric Bates, Barry Yeoman, and Sue Sturgis).

“Highway Robbery,” a 5-part investigative series co-sponsored by the Institute for Southern Studies examining spending and construction decisions made by the N.C. Department of Transportation and the affected communities (with Barry Yeoman).

“Downeast,” a 3-part series examining the lives of women who pick crabs in southeastern North Carolina (with writer Melinda Ruley, who won a North Carolina writer’s grant to do the project).
